Today I broke out some ribbons recycled from my nieces wedding and started making roses. The folded rose is one that I have never been able to make before. So using the ribbon and some recycled threads I made two off-white satin roses.
My first folded rose that looks decent!
After making a folded rose center I sewed ribbon around it onto a piece of crinolin. I want to decorate a jacket but first I need to practise. Not a bad idea for using up small lengths of lovely ribbon.
